Gold-D Magazine

Gold-D Magazine is conceptualised for animal lovers around the world. The focus is on community animals and their welfare issues.

Being neither pets nor "natural" wildlife, there is a lack of discourse and research on community animals and their welfare issues. As such, we have decided to focus on this knowlege gap and to document work in this area including the many heros who are their champions and care givers.

By raising these issues and documenting them, we create visibility, promote dialogue leading to acceptance of community animals and appreciation for rescurers and shelters.

For the inaugural issue, we are conducting a study of more than 20 rescue group in 8 countries. Several rescue groups from Hong Kong are included in the study.

We document their impact on cat's lives, their motivations and hopes for the cats.

This is the first study of its kind and the results forms the basis of Gold-D magazine, Issue 1.
