No to Convenience Euthanasia

"Gold-D Food for Thought" is a program to explore and share insights on animal welfare and animal-human issues. Each topic is represented by a donut.

"No to Convenience Euthanasia"is represented by a peach donut.
It is inspired by the longevity peach used in birthday celebrations in East Asia.

When an animal is rescued, they enter the value systems of their rescurer. Some will put down animals when they are not dying but need additional medical care or expensive vet fees. I.e. convenience euthanasia

Our position is rescue work is about understanding what a rescued animal needs to get well and to make available the resources.

That is why we say against No to Convenience Euthanasia.

We invite fellow rescuers to share their opinion.
