This is a program to send food to animals in monastries.
We have been doing it in Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Uganda. Now, we are very happy to introduce it to the US.
In Buddhist tradition, animals are fellow sentient beings. They are there to be loved and protected. That is why monasteries allow animals to live on their premises.
The food delivered is a way to thank them for their kindness and to let the animals know they are loved.
To prevent abandoment, we do ot disclose the locations.
It is also an alternative to animal release.
The food offer is also enjoyed by our FIV and FeLV rescue.
Gold-D wet food is
- Complete food
- Grain Free
- Carrageenan Free
- No colouring
- No artificial flavouring
Why carrageenan free?
Carrageenan is a gelling agent derived from red seaweed.
It is used as a gelling agent in pet food and has no nutritional value.
Carrageenan can cause inflammation and increase cancer risk. As FIV and FeLV+ cats have a higher cancer risk, we do not want them to be expose to it.
In fact, we do not want any of our pets to be exposure to carrageenan.
This is why Gold-D have a no carrageenan policy.
What happens after you order?
We will consolidate order and send the food to monasteries. Once delivered, we will announce it on our facebook acknowledging the sponsors names and items.
