Sok is Gold-D brand’s nonresident model from Cambodia. Sok used to have a home and lived with an expat family in Phnom Penh.
When they returned to Europe, Sok was left to fend for himself. As Sok roamed around the common space in the condo, he attracted the attention of the residents.
His presence was not appreciated, and they instructed the security guards to remove Sok. The security guards tried to capture Sok, but luckily the smart boy escaped and sustained a head injury in the process.
His injury attracted the attention of Animal Rescue Cambodia (ARC), who rescued Sok and brought him to the safety of their shelter. ARC later discovered that the plans have already been made to sell Sok to local dog meat traders.
Sok luckily was rescued just in time! He now lives with many friends in ARC and is loved and cared for, exactly the way he deserves.
We got to know about Sok through the Gold-D Cambodia project to raise food for the cats and dogs under the care of ARC.
